RADyoga Teacher Training
RADyoga 200hr Teacher Training welcomes both students who want to deepen their practice and those who would like to share the practice of yoga through teaching! The only thing better than experiencing the practice of yoga for yourself is sharing it with others and seeing the way it can create lightness and positive change. Our philosophy is to find the freedom to feel RADIANT, be AUTHENTIC and live DYNAMICALLY.
RADIANCE can only come from within you, and you need to be connected to tap into that part of us that we keep hidden under the surface of who we think we are. A lot of the time we live our lives on auto pilot and we are obsessed with being “busy”. If we don’t take time to slow down and appreciate the little things, before we know it our life will have passed us by. To find the stillness required to feel connected deeply to ourselves and others beginning with our breath, yoga brings this together with our movements to make us present here and now. When we are feeling radiant we can emit enthusiasm, excitement, and fall in love with our lives!
AUTHENTICITY is about accepting ourselves where we are now and acting in a way that is true to ourselves. Too often we hide behind excuses and stories that are not real. This can make us feel like strangers in our own bodies and lives. When we act, speak, move and live authentically it gives us the courage to be content with our decisions and we second guess ourselves less. Even if we don’t feel confident every moment we can still find that courage to motivate us to move forward even when we have doubts. When we connect with ourselves authentically and allow that part of us to see the light of day we can release not only our own expectations but the expectations others place on us too. Embrace your weirdness and turn what you thought were weaknesses into strengths by accepting yourself for where you are right now. Start from this place and move forward.
DYNAMIC is all about moving our bodies in their full range of motion with strength + awareness. Our bodies are so efficient that if we don’t use it, we lose it! Our teachers taught us that we need to learn to listen to the wisdom that is in our bodies. This takes time, care, and dedication, and the reward is a healthy, strong + mobile body that feels energetic and enthusiastic! Living DYNAMICALLY also means not getting stuck. We need to choose to continually grow, expand, and know that nothing is permanent and all things change. When we cling onto the past we lose the ability to stimulate our own change. Moving with the flow of life allows us to break free of the obstacles we place in our own way.
What makes this training RAD?!
Training will be lead by Gary Hamer (E-RYT 200) + Cortnie Clarke (E-RYT 200) + Candace Temple (RYT 200) + Kirstie Mann (RYT 200) + Keeley Stubbs (RYT 200)! Yoga is the art of balance and we will bring that to this course by anchoring our emotional and analytical minds. Not only will we define ocular precipitation, but we might even experience some ourselves ? We also have a not so subtle cue of grabbing each others knees when we go too far on a tangent, to bring us back around. Science tells us that we learn the best when we are feeling good so we are going to make sure there are lots of laughs, smiles, hugs, and excitement to keep you in the best frame of mind for expanding your knowledge.
The only thing that outweighs our passion for YOGA is our passion for PEOPLE! We’ve designed this program with the student in mind and it’s the kind of training WE’D like to take.
